Faust and the Faustian are at the heart of Clark's motto, "Challenge Convention, Change the World." We're interested in how this fifteenth-century, small-town German necromancy caught the attention of so many writers, artists, and musicians, including Marlowe, Goethe, Bulgakov, Mann, Havel, Liszt and Gounod.

Faustian Poetry
I wanted to look for other Faustian Poetry, and found this link:
Looking at the band's full entry on the site, it seems they're a black metal/industrial metal band, with a heavy focus on Satanism. There's a lot of black metal/metal in general with allusions to the devil. A search for just "Faust" in band names on the EM turns up a ton of results including this band:
http://metal-archives.com/band.php?id=11587
As well as
http://metal-archives.com/band.php?id=72148
In addition, a search for songs brought me to this album (http://metal-archives.com/release.php?id=246053), which is a melodic death metal album with a three-part suite entitled "The Tragical History of Doctor John Faustus." In class listening, perhaps? :P
